Welcome to the Tenafly Middle School
TMS Performance of Charlotte's Web!


TMS is pleased to announced that this Spring our students will be performing the play Charlotte's Web!

AUDITIONS - Jan. 19
Auditions will take place in hour-long sessions after school  Thursday January 19 (3:00-6:00pm).  There will be approximately 15 auditonees in each hour-long session.  Students will have a chance to participate in some group theater games and warm-up exercises, and then will read (privately, one at a time) from the script.  Students can sign up for an audition time in the main office with Mrs. Saxenian.  Callbacks will be held on Friday Jan. 20 3:00 - to 5:00pm. Students should be available in case they are called back for an additional audition.

We expect that this show will be a fun, entertaining, moving, and a memorable learning experience for all involved.  If you are interested, even if you have never auditioned before, we encourage you to come on out for the play
Yearbook Sales


It’s t
hat time of year again!  Time to order your child’s yearbook!       The yearbook is not just for 8th graders.  6th and 7th grades  are also represented and the yearbook is a great keepsake of your student’s middle school years. Please see attached flyer for more information.

 

All orders are placed directly with the publisher through their website:  www.jostensyearbooks.com  Please do not contact the school regarding yearbook sales – they are handled entirely by Jostens.


Deadline for yearbook orders: March 31, 2017  


You can personalize your child’s yearbook as well – deadline for a personalized yearbook: February 24, 2017


The yearbooks will be delivered to the Middle School in June.  6th and 7th graders will receive their yearbook during homeroom and the  8th graders receive theirs at the yearbook signing party.

8th Grade Trip Information

Tutoring for Middle Schoolers at High School

Bicycle Permission Form
Please click HERE to access the Bicycle Permission form and to read an important letter from Vice Principal George regarding wearing an approved helmet when cycling, roller-skating, in-line skating or skate boarding.  

The form is to be returned to the homeroom teacher ONLY if your child would like to ride a bicycle to school.

Paul Galan Presentation
On May 26, 2016, there was an assembly held for the sixth graders to see a presentation by Mr. Paul Galan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Holocaust Museum and Study Center of Rockland County.  Mr. Galan spoke about his experience as a young boy during the Holocaust.  For the past five years, he has given our students a compelling, age-appropriate, and heart-felt presentation that helps them understand this subject on a very personal level.  Click HERE to hear his presentation.
